AT8833 provides an integrated dual-channel motor drive solution for toys, printers, and other integrated motor applications. The AT8833 features two H-bridge drivers capable of driving two brushed DC motors, one bipolar stepper motor, or solenoids and other inductive loads.

The power output stage of each H-bridge consists of N-channel power MOSFETs, referred to as H-bridge drivers. Each bridge incorporates rectification circuitry and current limiting circuitry.

Internal shutdown functions include overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, UVLO protection, and overtemperature protection, with a dedicated fault detection output pin.

The AT8833 is offered in three package options: an ETSSOP16 with exposed pad, and two QFN16 packages with exposed pad in 4×4 and 3×3 sizes, all of which provide enhanced thermal dissipation performance. All packages are lead-free and RoHS compliant.
