Chau Light ZIRM-5042B-42-Z2

ZIRM-5042B-42-Z2 is a miniaturized IR receiver module designed for remote control and other applications requiring enhanced ambient light suppression. The module integrates a discrete PIN photodiode and a preamplifier IC on a single lead frame. The epoxy package incorporates a special IR filter. This module delivers excellent performance even under disturbed ambient light conditions and effectively prevents uncontrolled output pulses.

• Supply voltage range: 2.7V ~ 5.5V
• Compatible with TTL and CMOS logic levels
• No external components required except PIN diode
• Carrier frequency range: 32.7kHz to 40kHz (selectable at 32.7kHz, 36.7kHz, 37.9kHz, 40kHz via Zener diode fuse trimming)
• Built-in PCM frequency filter
• Enhanced immunity to various interference light sources and supply noise (built-in filter and AGC circuit)
• No spurious pulses on output pin under nominal conditions
• Open-collector output, active-low (built-in 50 kΩ pull-up resistor)
• Highly stable output pulse width (optimized for narrow decoding tolerance)
