Introduction
ME2107 is a series of high-efficiency, low-power PFM-controlled synchronous boost DC-DC converters featuring true enable shutdown and short-circuit protection. The built-in true enable shutdown function completely disconnects input from output when disabled, resulting in extremely low system quiescent current, while the short-circuit protection extends device service life and reliability. ME2107 provides output voltages from 1.8V to 5.0V in 0.1V steps. With a 0.9V input, it can start up and deliver a 3.3V output under loads above 1mA. Ideal for single-cell alkaline or NiMH battery-powered applications. The synchronous boost topology in a SOT23-5 package requires only four external components to boost a low battery input voltage to the required operating voltage.
