Introduction
The ADR44x series are XFET voltage references featuring ultralow noise, high accuracy, and low temperature drift. Through the use of temperature drift curve correction and the patented XFET (eXtra implanted FET) technology, the voltage nonlinearity versus temperature of the ADR44x is significantly reduced. XFET voltage references offer superior noise performance compared to buried Zener references and require a smaller headroom voltage (0.5V). The combination of these features makes the ADR44x series ideally suited for precision signal conversion in high-end data acquisition systems, optical networks, and medical applications. The ADR44x series can source up to 10 mA and sink up to -5 mA of output current. It also features a trim pin that allows output voltage adjustment within a 0.5% range without compromising performance. The ADR44x series is offered in two electrical grades, available in 8-pin MSOP and narrow-body SOIC packages. All models are rated for the -40°C to +125°C extended industrial temperature range.
