This Broadcom® low-current seven-segment display series is designed for applications requiring low power consumption. These devices are tested and screened for superior low-current characteristics, ensuring segment-to-segment matching at low drive currents. Per-segment drive current can be as low as 1 mA. Pin-compatible standard-current and high-brightness ambient-light versions are also available. The standard-current version is offered in all colors and suits most applications. The high-brightness ambient-light version is intended for sunlight environments or long-string multiplexing.
