The HCMS-29xx series are high-performance, easy-to-use dot matrix displays driven by onboard CMOS ICs. Each display interfaces directly with a microprocessor, eliminating the need for cumbersome interface components. The serial IC interface enables multi-character information display with minimal data lines. Multiple colors, character heights, and character counts give designers a broad product selection for specific applications. The easy-to-read 5×7 pixel format supports uppercase letters, lowercase letters, katakana, and user-defined characters. These displays can be stacked in both x and y directions, making them ideal for high character count applications.
