Introduction
HX6278 is a unipolar Hall-effect sensor IC. It employs advanced chopper-stabilization technology to provide accurate and stable magnetic switching points, with optimized design, specifications, and performance for solid-state switching applications. The output transistor turns on (Bop) in the presence of a sufficiently strong south-pole magnetic field facing the marked side of the package. Similarly, the output turns off (Brp) in the presence of a weaker magnetic field and remains off in the absence of a field. The HX6278 operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, with a supply voltage range of 3V to 24V and a maximum load current capability of 50mA. Available in SOT-23 and TO-92S packages, both halogen-free compliant.
