The SL0902A series delivers high surge ratings in a miniature package. Its special design characteristics provide a high level of protection against fast-rising transients in the 100V/μs to 1kV/μs range, typically caused by lightning strike interference. Low insertion loss makes it ideal for broadband equipment applications. Its capacitance does not vary with voltage, preventing operational issues in ADSL2+ applications where capacitance variation between Tip and Ring lines is undesirable. These devices are extremely robust, capable of dissipating 2500A pulses without damage. For AC power line crosstalk of longer duration, overcurrent protection is recommended. The CG5 MS miniature surge protector is designed to protect electrical and communications equipment in SMT applications against overvoltage transients. This series uses non-radioactive components, providing state-of-the-art protection.
