Introduction
FAN7385 is a monolithic high-side gate driver IC designed for high-voltage, high-speed driving of MOSFETs and IGBTs, with operating voltages up to +600V. Fairchild Semiconductor's high-voltage process and common-mode noise rejection technology ensure stable operation of the high-side driver in high dv/dt noise environments. The advanced level-shift circuit enables the high-side gate driver to operate with a bias voltage down to VS = -9.8V (typical value at ΔVBS = 15ΔV). The UVLO circuit prevents malfunction when VBS† and VBS2 fall below the specified threshold voltages. The output driver typically provides 350mA/650mA source/sink current, suitable for dual-channel high-side switches and half-bridge inverters.
