Introduction
The BQ7718xy series provides overvoltage monitors and protectors for lithium-ion battery pack systems. Each cell is independently monitored for overvoltage conditions. To enable faster production line testing, BQ7718xy devices offer a Customer Test Mode (CTM) with significantly reduced delay times. In BQ7718xy devices, when an overvoltage condition is detected on any cell, an internal delay timer is initiated. Upon delay timer expiration, the output is triggered to its active state (high or low, depending on configuration).
