XBLW LM2675MX-ADJ(XBLW)

The LM2675MX regulator is a monolithic integrated circuit ideally suited for easy and convenient design of step-down switching regulators (buck converters). It is capable of driving a 1.0A load with excellent line and load regulation. The device is available in an adjustable output version. It features internal compensation to minimize external component count and simplify power supply design. Since the LM2675 converter is a switch-mode power supply, its efficiency is significantly higher compared to popular three-terminal linear regulators, especially at higher input voltages. The LM2675MX operates at a switching frequency of 300kHz, requiring smaller filtering components compared to lower-frequency switching regulators. The device is available in a standard SOP8 surface-mount package. Additional features include guaranteed output voltage tolerance of ±4% and oscillator frequency tolerance of ±15% under specified input voltage and output load conditions. An external shutdown function is also included, with a typical standby current of 50μA. Self-protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limiting on the output switch and thermal shutdown protection under fault conditions.
