ICW4009A/B is a high-efficiency, high-precision non-isolated buck switching power supply constant voltage control driver IC. It is suitable for non-isolated Buck and Buck-boost topologies with a full input voltage range of 85VAC to 265VAC, and is especially suited for driving power supplies in small appliances and white goods. It integrates an internal high-voltage power transistor and operates in constant voltage control mode, supporting both CCM and DCM operation. A proprietary PFM control scheme is employed to improve audio noise performance. The peripheral application circuit is simple with high reliability. Multiple protection features are included, such as VCC clamp/undervoltage protection, output short-circuit protection, inductor overcurrent protection, and over-temperature protection.
