ICW ICW4008B

ICW4008 is a high-efficiency, high-precision non-isolated step-down switching power supply constant voltage control driver IC. It is suitable for non-isolated Buck and Buck-boost topologies with a full input voltage range of 85VAC~265VAC, and is especially suited for driving power supplies in small home appliances and white goods. The ICW4008 integrates a high-voltage power transistor internally, adopts a constant voltage control mode, and supports both CCM and DCM operation. A proprietary PFM control scheme is employed to improve audio performance. A built-in proprietary peak current control eliminates the need for a CS resistor; a built-in startup circuit eliminates the need for a startup resistor. The peripheral application is simple with high reliability. The ICW4008 features multiple protection functions, including VCC clamping/undervoltage protection, output short-circuit protection, inductor overcurrent protection, and over-temperature protection. The ICW4008 is available in SOP8L package.
