The TPA3126D2 is a 50W stereo Class-D amplifier with low quiescent current in a thermally enhanced package. The TPA3126D2 employs TI's proprietary hybrid modulation scheme, which can dynamically reduce the quiescent current at low power levels, thereby extending the battery life of portable audio systems such as Bluetooth speakers. To further simplify the design, this Class-D amplifier integrates comprehensive protection features, including short-circuit, thermal shutdown, overvoltage, undervoltage, and DC speaker protection. In case of an overload, the device reports the fault condition to the processor, thus preventing itself from being damaged.
