Introduction
This switch is made of metal, with electrical characteristics similar to those of a mercury switch, but without the associated hazards and environmental concerns. It features unidirectional conductivity when shaken, making it safer and more convenient to assemble and use. Its operating characteristics are as follows: the gold-plated pins serve as the conductive trigger terminals, while the pin-free end acts as the open-circuit terminal. When subjected to sufficient external shaking force, or when the gold-pin end is tilted below the horizontal plane at an appropriate angle, the electrical pins will enter a momentary or sustained conductive state. To restore the open-circuit state, the switch must be in a stationary environment with the pin-free end positioned below the horizontal line. When the switch is placed horizontally, shaking can trigger it easily; when the pin-free end faces downward, triggering becomes extremely difficult. This switch is suitable for low-current circuit triggering and should not be used as a power switch. Operating temperature range: -20℃~80℃.
Features
- Metal construction with electrical characteristics similar to mercury switches, but without the hazards or environmental concerns.
- Unidirectional conduction when shaken; easy and safe to assemble and use.
- Gold leads are the conduction trigger terminals; the no-lead end is the open-circuit terminal.
- When subjected to appropriate shaking force or when the gold end is tilted below the horizontal plane at an appropriate angle, the electrical pins produce a momentary or sustained conduction state.
- To restore the open-circuit state, the switch must be in a stationary environment with the no-lead end below the horizontal line.
- When placed horizontally, shaking easily triggers conduction; when the no-lead end faces downward, shaking rarely triggers conduction.
- Suitable for small-current circuit triggering; not recommended for use as a power switch.
- Operating temperature range: -20℃~80℃.
