Introduction
The SN65HVD230 is an interface chip designed for use between CAN protocol controllers and the physical bus. It is used in conjunction with 3.3V microprocessors, MCUs, DSPs with CAN controllers, or equivalent protocol controllers, and finds application in industrial automation, control, sensors and drive systems, motor and robotics control, building and temperature control, as well as telecommunications and base station control and status monitoring. Suitable for applications employing a CAN serial communication physical layer compliant with the ISO 11898 standard. Supports data rates up to 1Mbps and is fully compatible with the ISO 11898 standard.
