Introduction
The FM4312 series is a highly integrated and reliable two-cell lithium battery boost charging management IC. The charging current is configured via an external RCS resistor. The charging system integrates both CC and CV charging modes, with the boost switching charge converter operating at a maximum frequency of 1MHz. With a 5V input voltage and a built-in adaptive loop, it intelligently adjusts the charging current to match all adapters. It controls the switching of an external NMOS to raise and lower inductor current, achieving energy transfer. The minimal peripheral components reduce overall solution size and BOM cost. Comprehensive protection features are integrated, including input undervoltage, battery overvoltage, and chip overtemperature protection. Available in SOP8 and ESOP8 packages, with a rated operating temperature range of -40°C ~ 85°C.
