Introduction
The MPX series capacitors feature a metallized polypropylene film non-inductive winding construction, with tin-plated copper-clad steel leads soldered to the schoopage (metallized spray) terminations of the capacitor element. The capacitor body is encapsulated in a UL94V-0 flame-retardant plastic case with flame-retardant epoxy resin. MPX series capacitors are widely used in interference suppression and across-the-line capacitor circuits, suitable for applications where capacitor failure does not present an electric shock hazard.
