The NRS1414xx/2412xx series fiber optic transceiver components are designed for use with 850nm multimode optical fiber, providing high-performance, cost-effective fiber optic communication links for industrial, power generation, medical, and transportation applications. This series supports the industry-standard ST fiber interface, available with threaded and metal connector options, and is fully compatible with AVAGO's HFBR-1414/2412 series. It supports multiple multimode fiber core diameters, including 50/125μm, 62.5/125μm, 100/140μm, and 200μm. The NRS1414xx is a transmitter built around a high-power LED die with a peak wavelength of 850nm. When used with 62.5/125μm core 850nm multimode fiber at a forward drive current of 60mA, the typical output optical power is -14dBm, with a minimum transmission distance of 2750 meters. The NRS2412xx is a receiver consisting of a high-gain transimpedance amplifier with an integrated photodiode. The output stage features an open-drain MOSFET configuration, supporting a maximum output voltage of 18V.
