Introduction
Gas sensors based on the infrared absorption principle offer significant advantages over traditional gas sensors, including better stability, stronger selectivity, no oxygen dependency, wider detection range, longer service life, extended maintenance intervals, and superior anti-interference capability. This makes them the trend in gas detection development and a viable replacement for traditional gas sensors. This infrared gas sensor is designed using the latest technology, employing a low-power processor and infrared light source to stabilize operating current while managing overall power consumption. The sensor incorporates the latest algorithms, including gas concentration algorithms, calibration algorithms, and temperature compensation algorithms. The sensor uses a 32-bit industrial-grade microprocessor with fast processing speed and a wide operating temperature range. Combined with the latest algorithms, it ensures high efficiency, high accuracy, and stable, reliable data processing across various operating environments. The sensor's analog voltage signal has a minimum output of 0V and a maximum output of 2.5V. Users can configure the zero-point output voltage, full-scale output voltage, voltage output offset, and output mode via PC tool software, enabling quick and flexible adjustments for various requirements. Configuration parameters are retained after power-off. The digital communication baud rate can be set by the user to one of the following: 9600, 19200, 38400, or 115200. Digital communication supports both active mode and passive mode. In active mode, the sensor continuously transmits real-time measurement data at the configured data transmission interval (1–99S). In passive mode, the sensor waits for a read command from the terminal before transmitting measurement data. Configuration parameters are retained after power-off. The analog output zero-point value (DacZero) setting range is 0.0V ≤ DacZero ≤ 2.0V, with the additional condition that (DacZero + DacOffset) ≥ 0.0V.
