Introduction
A standalone CAN protocol controller with full support for the CAN V2.0B specification. The device is capable of transmitting and receiving standard and extended data frames, as well as remote frames. Two acceptance mask registers and six acceptance filter registers are included to filter out unwanted messages, thereby reducing overhead on the host MCU. Connectivity to the MCU is achieved via the industry-standard SPI.
