Introduction
This 2-bit non-inverting translator is a bidirectional voltage-level translator designed to establish digital switching compatibility between multi-voltage systems. The IC features two independently configurable supply rails: Port A supports an operating voltage of 1.65 V to 3.6 V and tracks the VccA supply; Port B supports an operating voltage of 2.3 V to 5.5 V and tracks the VccB supply. These features provide support for both lower and higher logic-level signals while enabling bidirectional translation between 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V voltage nodes. When the output enable (OE) input is driven low, all I/O ports are forced into a high-impedance state, significantly reducing quiescent current consumption. To maintain the high-impedance state during power-up or power-down, the OE pin should be connected to GND through a pull-down resistor; the minimum value of this resistor is determined by the current-sourcing capability of the driver.
