The AR0821CS is a 1/1.7-inch CMOS digital image sensor with an active-pixel array of 3848 (H) × 2168 (V). This advanced sensor uses a rolling shutter readout to capture linear or high dynamic range images. The AR0821 is optimized to deliver high-quality performance in low-light and challenging lighting conditions. It incorporates onsemi's 2.1-micron DRPix BSI pixel and embedded HDR technology, enabling a dynamic range exceeding 140 dB. The sensor includes advanced features such as pixel binning, windowing, summing, and video and single-frame modes to provide flexible ROI, application-optimized bandwidth, and low power consumption. These characteristics make the sensor well-suited for a wide range of applications, including scanning, dash cameras, autonomous mobile, and inspection and quality control.
