Introduction
The AR0820AT is a 1/2-inch CMOS digital image sensor with an active-pixel array of 3848 (H) × 2168 (V). This advanced automotive sensor uses a rolling shutter readout and captures images in either linear or high dynamic range mode. Optimized for low-light and challenging HDR scene performance, it features 2.1μm DRPix backside-illuminated (BSI) pixels and on-chip 140dB HDR capture capability. The sensor offers advanced features such as pixel-level binning, windowing, and video and single-frame modes, providing flexible ROI or specific resolutions to enhance performance in extremely low-light conditions. The AR0820AT's sophisticated sensor fault detection functions and embedded data are designed to enable cameras to meet ASIL B compliance. The device is programmable via a simple two-wire serial interface and supports a MIPI output interface.
