Introduction
The E180-ZG120A/B is a ZigBee module based on the Silicon Labs EFR32MG1B series wireless SoC, operating in the 2.4GHz band, featuring compact size, low power consumption, and high reliability. The chip integrates a high-performance 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 core and a power amplifier, with a transmit power of up to 20dBm. The module complies with the ZigBee 3.0 standard and provides a complete application integration solution for the IEEE 802.15.4 standard ISM band. The complex wireless communication protocol is integrated into the built-in SoC, supporting UART transparent transmission mode for fast and easy integration. - Automatic channel and PAN ID assignment: The coordinator automatically creates a network on the optimal channel and assigns a PAN ID to avoid conflicts with other coordinators.
- Automatic MAC address retrieval: The coordinator automatically obtains the MAC address and short address of nodes upon joining, requiring no processing on the device side.
- Address lookup: Users can look up the short address of a joined node by its MAC address, or look up the long address of any network node by its short address.
- Data security: Integrated ZigBee 3.0 secure communication standard with multi-level security keys.
- Serial port configuration: Built-in serial port commands allow users to configure module parameters and functions.
- PWM control: Supports local/remote PWM control with 3 PWM channels available.
- One-touch baud rate recovery: Restores the default baud rate to 115200bps if the user has forgotten or is unaware of the current baud rate.
- Serial port receive wake-up: Supports serial port receive wake-up. When the module is in sleep mode, receiving any byte of data will wake it up; this data serves as the wake-up frame and is not treated as valid data.
