IP6525T is a synchronous buck converter with integrated switching MOSFETs, supporting 4 fast-charging protocols, providing a complete solution for car chargers, fast-charging adapters, and smart power strips.

The IP6525T integrates power MOSFETs with an input voltage range of 9.6V to 32V and an output voltage range of 3V to 12V, capable of delivering up to 18W of output power. It automatically adjusts the output voltage and current based on the detected fast-charging protocol. Typical output voltage and current combinations include 5V@3.4A, 9V@2.0A, and 12V@1.5A. The buck conversion efficiency reaches up to 98%.

The IP6525T output features CV/CC characteristics. When the output current is below the set value, it operates in CV mode with a constant output voltage; when the output current exceeds the set value, it switches to CC mode and the output voltage decreases.

The IP6525T output incorporates a cable compensation function, which increases the output voltage as the output current rises to compensate for the voltage drop caused by cable impedance.

The IP6525T features a soft-start function to prevent inrush current during startup from affecting the stability of the input power supply.

The IP6525T integrates fast-charging protocols and can automatically detect the fast-charging protocol supported by the connected device via DP/DM, then automatically adjust the output voltage and current. Supported fast-charging protocols include DCP (Apple, Samsung, and BC1.2), Qualcomm QC2.0/QC3.0, Huawei FCP, and Samsung AFC.

The IP6525T provides multiple protection features, including input overvoltage and undervoltage protection, as well as output overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and short-circuit protection. The IP6525T is available in an ESOP8 package.
