Introduction
The MC1413 is a high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor array comprising seven silicon NPN Darlington pairs. All units share a common emitter, and each unit features an open-collector output. Each unit integrates a freewheeling diode and appropriate base-emitter resistors to improve output efficiency and reduce leakage current. Each Darlington pair is connected in series with a 2.7K base resistor, enabling compatibility with TTL and CMOS circuits at a 5V supply voltage, allowing direct handling of data that would otherwise require standard logic buffers.
