Introduction
This product adopts an H-bridge circuit architecture using high-reliability power transistor process technology, making it particularly suitable for driving inductive loads such as coils and motors. The circuit integrates N-channel and P-channel power MOSFETs internally, with an operating voltage range of 8V to 24V. Under conditions of 27°C and VM = 24V, the SOP8 package achieves a maximum continuous output current of 0.55A and a maximum peak output current of 1.5A. This circuit is a power device with inherent on-resistance. The heat dissipation of the circuit is closely related to load current, power MOSFET on-resistance, and ambient temperature. The circuit incorporates an on-chip temperature detection circuit that monitors the internal temperature of the chip in real time. When the internal chip temperature exceeds the set threshold (typical value 150°C), a power MOSFET shutdown signal is generated to cut off the load current, preventing continuous temperature rise due to abnormal operation, which could otherwise lead to serious safety hazards such as plastic package smoking or catching fire. The built-in thermal hysteresis circuit ensures that control of the power MOSFETs is only permitted after the circuit has returned to a safe temperature. This driver circuit features a built-in current limiting protection circuit. When the current through the power MOSFETs exceeds the set threshold, the internal current limiting protection circuit activates and the maximum output current of the power MOSFETs is clamped to the set value. This feature ensures the circuit will not be damaged in the event of a short circuit between the output port and ground, or between output ports.
