Introduction
CH334 and CH335 are 4-port USB hub controller chips compliant with the USB 2.0 specification. The upstream port supports USB 2.0 high-speed and full-speed modes, while the downstream ports support USB 2.0 high-speed 480Mbps, full-speed 12Mbps, and low-speed 1.5Mbps. They support both the low-cost STT mode (a single transaction translator time-sharing across 4 downstream ports) and the high-performance MTT mode (4 transaction translators each dedicated to one port for concurrent processing). Designed to industrial-grade standards with a minimal peripheral circuit, these chips are suitable for computer and industrial PC motherboards, peripherals, and embedded systems.

- Per-port status LED indication
- Compound device support, non-removable device, custom VID, PID, and port configuration via external EEPROM
- Built-in information memory for bulk customization of vendor/product information and configuration for industry-specific requirements; no external EEPROM required
- Proprietary USB PHY with LPM low-power technology; significantly reduced power consumption vs. first-generation hub ICs; supports self-powered and bus-powered modes
- Self-powered or bus-powered mode configurable via I/O pins or external EEPROM
- Crystal oscillator with built-in capacitors; supports external 12 MHz clock input; integrated PLL provides 480 MHz clock to USB PHY
- Built-in high-precision internal clock; optional elimination of external 12 MHz crystal to reduce cost, board area, and EMI
- Built-in 1.5 KΩ pull-up on upstream port; built-in host-required pull-downs on downstream ports; minimized external components
- Integrated LDO regulator converts USB bus voltage to 3.3 V operating voltage
- CH335 supports MCU-controlled swapping between upstream port and downstream port 1
- USB pins with 6 KV enhanced ESD protection, Class 3A compliant
- Industrial temperature range: -40 ~ 85℃
