Introduction
AD4150B is a mono, bridge-mode audio power amplifier with shutdown mode. At a 5.5V supply voltage, the average output power is 3W (4Ω load, THD<10%). The application circuit is simple, requiring minimal external components to deliver high-quality output power. No external coupling capacitors, bootstrap capacitors, snubber networks, or feedback resistors are required at the output. A built-in RF interference rejection circuit provides superior noise immunity in its single-ended configuration compared to conventional differential architectures.
Available in SOP-8/MSOP-8 packages, it is especially suited for low-volume, compact portable systems. Power consumption can be reduced by enabling shutdown mode via a control pin. Stable operation with a gain-bandwidth product up to 2.5MHz and unity-gain stability. Amplifier voltage gain is adjustable through external resistor configuration for easy application.
