Introduction
SIT3485E is a half-duplex, low-power RS-485 transceiver with a wide supply voltage range of 3.0V~5.5V, bus port ESD protection up to 15kV HBM, and a bus fault protection range of ±15V. It fully complies with TIA/EIA-485 standard requirements. The device integrates one driver and one receiver, both independently enable/disable controllable; when both are disabled, the driver and receiver outputs enter a high-impedance state. With 1/8 unit load, it supports up to 256 transceivers on the same bus, enabling error-free data transmission at up to 12Mbps. SIT3485E features failsafe protection, current limiting, and overvoltage protection.
