Introduction
Electronic water gauge liquid level sensing module MER-MCP1081-165-30 is based on capacitive non-contact measurement principle. The core sensing chip is MCP1081S, a 10-channel multi-mode wideband digital capacitive processor, integrating capacitance measurement, acquisition, microprocessor algorithms, temperature sensing and compensation, and interface communication in a single device. It offers high sensitivity to liquids inside non-metallic containers. The unique capacitive sensing electrode design combined with software algorithms effectively overcomes technical challenges such as thick container walls, liquid wall-clinging effects, and water quality variations. It also supports self-adaptive 0~1mm air gap compensation, making it widely applicable to continuous liquid level measurement in water tanks — particularly in high-penetration scenarios requiring measurement through container walls and air gaps.
