Introduction
PI6C557-03 is a spread spectrum clock generator supporting PCI Express and Ethernet requirements. Designed for PC or embedded systems, it significantly reduces EMI. The PI6C557-03 provides two differential (HCSL) spread spectrum outputs, configurable for spread spectrum and clock selection. Leveraging Pericom's patented PLL technology, the device accepts a 25MHz crystal input and generates two pairs of differential (HCSL) outputs at 25MHz, 100MHz, 125MHz, and 200MHz clock frequencies. It also offers ±0.25%, -0.5%, -0.75% spread spectrum options as well as a no spread spectrum option.
