Introduction
KEMET Organic Capacitors (KO-CAP) are solid electrolytic capacitors with a conductive polymer cathode, delivering ultra-low ESR and superior capacitance retention at high frequencies. KO-CAP combines the low ESR of multilayer ceramics, the high capacitance of aluminum electrolytic capacitors, and the volumetric efficiency of tantalum capacitors in a surface mount package. Unlike liquid electrolyte-based capacitors, KO-CAP offers exceptionally long service life and high ripple current capability.
T591/T597/T598/T599 high-humidity and high-temperature polymer electrolytic capacitors provide enhanced capacitance and ESR stability under harsh environmental conditions. Design improvements and upgraded materials enable operation at rated voltage under 85°C / 85% RH for 500 hours (T591) or 1000 hours (T598, T599), with full compliance to AEC-Q200 qualification testing and maximum operating temperature life ratings of 125°C and 150°C respectively. These capacitors are manufactured in ISO TS 16949-certified facilities and require PPAP/PSW and change control.
