Introduction
Alloy-type thermal cutoffs are one-shot, non-resettable devices consisting primarily of a low-melting-point fusible alloy, flux, housing, sealing resin, and lead wires. Under normal operating conditions, the fusible alloy connects the two lead wires; when an abnormal heat source is detected and the preset cutoff temperature is reached, the fusible alloy melts and rapidly retracts to both lead wire ends under the action of the flux, thereby interrupting the circuit. The alloy-type thermal cutoff (ATCO) R Series features a rated functioning temperature range of 76°C to 221°C and a rated current of 15A. It has obtained safety certifications including UL, cUL, TUV, PSE, and CCC, and complies with RoHS and REACH environmental regulations.
