Introduction
The AD8554ARZ-REEL7 quad amplifier employs a patented fast-step-response chopper-stabilization technique to provide input offset voltage correction, achieving ultralow offset and drift. This approach continuously measures and compensates for input offset, eliminating drift due to time and temperature variations as well as 1/f noise effects. This design breakthrough enables the device to achieve a 1.5 MHz gain bandwidth product and a 1.2 V/μs slew rate while consuming only 125 μA of supply current. These devices are unity-gain stable and feature excellent power supply rejection ratio and common-mode rejection ratio. The AD8554ARZ-REEL7 amplifiers are ideal for applications requiring precision amplification of low-level signals where error sources cannot be tolerated, yet high bandwidth and fast transient response are needed. Rail-to-rail input and output swing makes both high-side and low-side sensing straightforward. The device operates from a single supply as low as 1.8 V, making it suitable for two-cell battery applications. The op amps feature enhanced EMI protection to minimize interference from external sources, along with high ESD protection (5-kV HBM). All versions are specified to operate over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
