TDA51S485HC is an isolated half-duplex enhanced transceiver designed for RS-485 bus networks, featuring high electromagnetic immunity and low emission characteristics, fully compliant with the TIA/EIA-485-A standard. Its bus receiver adopts a 1/8 unit load design, supporting up to 256 nodes on the bus to meet multi-node design requirements, with a bus transmission rate of up to 500kbps. The device provides high isolation capability, effectively preventing noise and surges on the data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground, thereby avoiding interference with or damage to sensitive circuits. Its high common-mode transient immunity ensures correct transmission of digital signals. Building on conventional IC design, this product places particular emphasis on the reliability of pins A and B, incorporating driver overcurrent protection and enhanced ESD design. The ESD withstand capability of the A and B ports reaches 6kV (Human Body Model) and ±15kV (contact discharge).
