Introduction
The XAD855x series amplifiers employ a patented fast-settling chopper stabilization technique to correct input offset voltage, achieving ultralow offset and drift. This approach continuously measures and compensates for input offset, eliminating drift due to time and temperature variations as well as 1/f noise. This design breakthrough enables the devices to simultaneously achieve a 1.5MHz gain bandwidth product and a high slew rate of 1.2V/μs, while drawing only 125μA of quiescent current. These devices are unity-gain stable and feature excellent power supply rejection ratio and common-mode rejection ratio. The XAD855x series is ideal for applications requiring precise amplification of low-level signals that cannot tolerate error sources yet demand high bandwidth and fast transient response. Rail-to-rail input and output swing makes both high-side and low-side sensing straightforward. The XAD855x series operates from a single supply as low as 1.8V, making it suitable for dual-battery applications. The XAD855x op amps feature enhanced EMI protection to minimize interference from external sources, along with high ESD protection capability. All versions are specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
