Introduction
The XAD86Ox series single, dual, and quad op-amps represent a new generation of general-purpose, low-power op-amps. The series features rail-to-rail input and output swing with a typical quiescent current of only 750 μA, along with an 11 MHz wide bandwidth and ultralow noise (8 nV/√Hz at 10 kHz), making it highly attractive for a wide range of battery-powered applications requiring a good balance of cost and performance, such as audio output, motor phase current sensing, photodiode amplification, barcode scanners, and white goods. Low input bias current enables these amplifiers for use in applications with megaohm-level source impedances. The robust design of the XAD86Ox amplifiers provides ease of use for circuit designers: unity-gain stable with capacitive loads up to 300 pF, integrated RF/EMI rejection filter, no phase reversal under overdrive conditions, and high ESD protection (4 kV HBM). The XAD860x amplifiers are optimized for voltage ranges from as low as +1.8 V (±0.9 V) to as high as +5.5 V (±2.75 V), with an operating temperature range of 0 °C ~ 70 °C; over the extended temperature range of -40 °C ~ +125 °C, the operating voltage range is +2.0 V (±1.0 V) to +5.5 V (±2.75 V). The XAD8601 (single) is available in a SOT23-5 package. The XAD8602 (dual) is offered in SOP-8 and MSOP-8 packages. The quad XAD8604 is available in SOP-14 and TSSOP-14 packages.
