Introduction
The MPX series capacitors feature a metallized polypropylene film non-inductive winding construction, with tin-plated copper-clad steel leads soldered to the metallized (flame-sprayed) terminals of the capacitor element. The capacitor body is encapsulated in a UL94V-0 flame-retardant plastic case with flame-retardant epoxy resin. MPX series capacitors are widely used in interference suppression and across-the-line capacitor circuits, and are suitable for applications where capacitor failure does not result in electric shock hazard.
