Introduction
The XAD86Ox series single, dual, and quad operational amplifiers represent a new generation of general-purpose, low-power op amps. The series features rail-to-rail input and output swing; its low quiescent current (typical 750 μA) combined with wide bandwidth (11 MHz) and ultralow noise (8 nV/√Hz at 10 kHz) makes it highly attractive for a wide range of battery-powered applications requiring a good balance of cost and performance, such as audio output, motor phase current sensing, photodiode amplification, barcode scanners, and white goods. Low input bias current enables these amplifiers to be used in applications with megaohm-level source impedances. The robust design of the XAD86Ox amplifiers provides ease of use for circuit designers: unity-gain stable with capacitive loads up to 300 pF, integrated RF/EMI rejection filter, no phase reversal under overdrive conditions, and high ESD protection (4-kV HBM). The XAD860x amplifiers are optimized for voltage ranges from as low as +1.8 V (±0.9 V) to as high as +5.5 V (±2.75 V) over a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, and can operate over an extended temperature range of −40°C to +125°C at supply voltages from +2.0 V (±1.0 V) to +5.5 V (±2.75 V). The XAD8605 (single) is available in a SOT23-5L package. The XAD8606 (dual) is offered in SOP-8 and MSOP-8 packages. The quad XAD8608 is available in SOP-14 and TSSOP-14 packages.
