DOWO DS1302-DW

The DS1302 is a trickle-charge timekeeping chip that integrates a real-time clock/calendar and 31 bytes of static RAM, communicating with a microprocessor via a simple serial interface. The real-time clock/calendar provides year, month, date, hour, minute, second, and day-of-week information, with automatic adjustment for months fewer than 31 days and leap year correction. The clock can be configured for 12-hour format (with AM/PM indication) or 24-hour format. The device also features dual power supply pins (primary and backup), a programmable trickle charger, and an additional 7-byte scratch pad register. It is available in an SOP-8 package.
