Introduction
WF280 is a high-precision barometer and altimeter designed for consumer applications, based on a piezoresistive MEMS pressure sensor for pressure measurement. The ultra-low power consumption and low-voltage electronic circuitry of the WF280A are optimized for use in mobile phones, smart watches, PDAs, GPS navigation devices, and outdoor equipment. The sensor module features a compact 8-pin metal-cap LGA package with a footprint of only 2.0×2.5mm² and a package height of 1.0mm. Its small form factor and low power consumption make it suitable for battery-powered devices. The WF280A delivers outstanding performance with a low altitude noise of only 0.1m and an extremely low offset temperature coefficient, making it ideal for applications such as floor detection, healthcare, and GPS augmentation. Its I²C interface facilitates system integration with microcontrollers.
