GR3102E is a power system-on-chip integrating lithium battery charge management, a synchronous boost converter, battery fuel gauge, and protection functions. Its comprehensive feature integration significantly reduces the number of external application components, helping to shrink solution size and lower BOM cost. The chip supports an open-lid reconnection function via Hall drive with no additional circuitry required. The charging current is 0.38A, and the synchronous boost converter supports 0.8A output; the boost switch is controlled via an enable pin, and the fuel gauge LED is turned off when the load current falls below 10mA. The chip incorporates built-in power path management, supporting simultaneous charge and discharge, with heavy-load and short-circuit protection in this mode — eliminating the need for an external diode while effectively preventing damage to it under heavy-load and short-circuit conditions.
