Introduction
The ADP5054 integrates four high-performance buck regulators in a 48-lead LFCSP package, meeting demanding performance and board space requirements. It can directly connect to high input voltages up to 15.5V without requiring a pre-regulator.
Channels 1 and 2 integrate high-side power MOSFETs and low-side MOSFET drivers. An external NFET can be used as the low-side power device for an efficiency-optimized solution, with programmable output current of 2A, 4A, or 6A. Configuring channels 1 and 2 in parallel provides a single output with a maximum current of 12A.
Channels 3 and 4 integrate both high-side and low-side MOSFETs, delivering 2.5A output current. Configuring channels 3 and 4 in parallel provides a single output with a maximum current of 5A.
The ADP5054 switching frequency can be programmed from 250kHz to 2MHz or synchronized to an external clock, with individual /2x frequency configuration options for each channel.
The ADP5054 features independent precision enable pins for each channel, facilitating power-up sequencing control. For noise-sensitive applications, the ADP5054 implements a low 1/f noise reference internally.
