MCP1081EVK is a surface-mount module for the MCP1081S, a 10-channel multi-mode wideband digital capacitance processor IC, designed to facilitate debugging of the MCP1081 series. MCP1081S supports single-ended capacitance, floating differential capacitance, and mutual capacitance operating modes, enabling 10-channel single-ended or 5-channel differential capacitance measurements. Integrating an Arm Cortex-M0 core microprocessor, it can implement various embedded sensing and processing algorithms to convert raw oscillation frequency values into capacitance readings and physical quantities such as liquid level, moisture content, and displacement distance. It is widely used in applications including continuous liquid level detection, moisture content measurement, wet/dry analysis, water immersion detection, dielectric sensing, proximity sensing, and capacitive touch buttons.
