Introduction
This infrared receiver series is optimized for short-pulse remote control systems operating in various environments. Customers can select from different IC configurations (automatic gain control variants) to find the right solution for their application. Higher AGC settings provide better noise suppression but lower code compatibility. The device integrates a PIN diode mounted on a lead frame and a preamplifier. An infrared filter is incorporated within the epoxy package. The demodulated output signal can be directly connected to a microprocessor for decoding.
