Introduction
The INA293-Q1 is an ultra-precision current sense amplifier that measures the voltage drop across a shunt resistor over a wide common-mode range of –4V to 110V. The negative common-mode voltage allows the device to operate below ground, enabling accurate measurement of freewheeling currents in half-bridge applications. The combination of low offset voltage, small gain error, and high DC CMRR enables high-accuracy current measurement. The INA293-Q1 is suitable not only for DC current measurement but also for high-speed applications such as fast overcurrent protection, featuring a wide bandwidth of 1.3MHz and 85dB AC CMRR (at 50kHz). The INA293-Q1 operates from a single supply of 2.7V to 20V with a supply current of 1.5mA. The INA293-Q1 offers five gain options: 20V/V, 50V/V, 100V/V, 200V/V, and 500V/V, covering a wide dynamic range of current sensing applications. The INA293-Q1 is rated for an operating temperature range of –40°C to +125°C and is available in a space-saving SOT-23 package with two pin configuration options.
