Introduction
The low-power TLV904x series includes single-channel (TLV9041), dual-channel (TLV9042), and quad-channel (TLV9044) ultra-low-voltage (1.2V to 5.5V) operational amplifiers with rail-to-rail input and output swing capabilities. The TLV904x achieves power savings with its low quiescent current (10µA, typical) and the ability to operate at supply voltages as low as 1.2V, making it one of the few amplifiers in the industry that can support 1.5V coin-cell battery applications. Power consumption can be further saved by using the shutdown mode (TLV9041S, TLV9042S, and TLV9044S): turning off the amplifier and putting it into a standby mode with a typical current consumption of less than 150 nA. These devices provide a cost-effective amplifier solution for power- and space-constrained applications such as battery-powered IoT devices, wearable electronics, and personal electronics where low-voltage operation is critical. The robust design of the TLV904x series helps simplify circuit design. These operational amplifiers integrate RFI and EMI suppression filters, are unity-gain stable, and do not exhibit phase reversal under input overdrive conditions. The device also offers excellent AC performance, with a gain bandwidth of 350kHz and high capacitive load drive of 100 pF, enabling designers to achieve higher performance and lower power consumption. Space-saving micro-packages (such as X2QFN and WSON) and industry-standard packages (such as SOIC, VSSOP, TSSOP, and SOT - 23 packages) are available for all channel models (single-channel, dual-channel, and quad-channel).
