Introduction
33771 is a SMARTMOS lithium-ion battery cell controller IC designed for automotive applications such as hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and electric vehicles (EV), as well as industrial applications such as energy storage systems (ESS) and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. The device performs ADC conversion on differential battery cell voltage and current, and conducts battery coulomb counting and battery temperature measurement. This information is digitally transmitted to the microcontroller via Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) or Transformer Isolation (TPL) for processing.
